The CCD is less than 10 minutes on the Luas Red Line from Dublin’s two main railway stations, Connolly and Heuston. Operated by Irish Rail, these stations serve all the major towns and cities in Ireland.
The DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) rail network runs along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth, to Bray and Graystones, providing transport from the city centre to suburban areas. Connolly, Pearse Street and Tara Street DART stations are all located about 10 minutes’ walk from The CCD.
The Luas Red Line (Dublin’s light tram network) runs directly behind The CCD, conveniently linking to downtown Dublin and to Connolly and Heuston rail stations. For The CCD, take the Red Line towards The Point and exit at either Major Square or Spencer Dock.
Dublin Bus offers a high frequency, easy-to-use and accessible service across all of the city centre and surrounding areas. These services include city bus services, Airlink, Nitelink and DART feeder buses. Exact change, weekly tickets or top up Leapcards must be used. You can find more information on fares and tickets at www.DublinBus.ie
Busáras is the central bus station in Dublin for intercity and regional bus services operated by Bus Éireann. Busáras is just 5 minutes from The CCD on the Luas Red Line and is located beside Connolly railway station.
The Convention Centre Dublin’s underground car park, managed by Euro Car Parks, has 320 spaces and 8 disabled spaces. It operates from 7.00am to midnight, 7 days a week. Parking rates are €3.50 per hour or €20 per day, with an evening rate of €10 from 6.00pm to midnight. (Prices subject to change)
You can pre-book parking up to two weeks in advance in The CCD’s underground car park here, please note a handling fee of €1 applies to each transaction.
For more information on The CCD’s underground car park, please call Euro Car Parks directly on +353 1 890 8320 (manned 24/7) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coming from the city centre, you can approach the car park via Mayor Street Upper or North Wall Quay. If approaching via Mayor Street Upper, drive past the back of The CCD and, to your right, you will see a ramp leading down to the car park entrance. If you are approaching The CCD from North Wall Quay, the easiest way in is to turn onto Park Lane (first turn left after The CCD coming from the city centre, last turn right before The CCD coming from Dublin Docklands). Take the first left off Park Lane and turn left down the ramp to the car park.
When you go down the ramp, turn right for The CCD car park. Please note that when you park, you must use the designated lift to exit the car park and ascend to Ground Level. For security reasons, all users of the car park must exit the building at ground level on the east side of The CCD, and do not have direct access into The CCD foyer. If you are attending an event at The CCD, simply walk around to the main entrance. You can find information on access for delivery vehicles here.
There are over 2,300 spaces in car parks near The CCD. A map of car park locations is available by clicking here
